New Obour City<\/strong><\/h2>\n

President El Sisi has declared to initiate in constructing New Obour City on an area of 13416.9 feddans.<\/span><\/p>\n

The city lies at 26 km on Cairo-Ismailia Road. Also, it is located on many vital and important roads that connect it to Cairo on the one side and on the other, canal cities (Ismailia, Suez and Port Said).\u00a0 Among the most important of these roads are the New Regional and Middle Ring Roads. Besides, the city is not far from the Industrial Zone in Obour city. <\/a><\/span>

\n<\/span>Thus, the new Obour city boundaries extends from 10th of Ramadan city on the east, to El Nahda Road and the entrance of Obour city<\/a> from the Cairo- Ismailia road. On the south, it’s bounded by Cairo- Ismailia road, where the region includes El Amal, El Qadisiyah and El Talaa’ cities. The city will compensate 2,900,000 of population.<\/span><\/p>\n

Obour city is one of the fourth generation cities, in which the most sophisticated international standards are applied. In addition, it has up-to-date services such as solar energy and the e-government.<\/span><\/p>\n

In pursuit of the Egyptian government towards eliminating irregularities and wasting of state resources, the strategic plan of the New Obour city was adopted in November 2017. The outputs were to implement a main road network over 65 km, with EGP 1 billion budget. the government allocated nearly 3,000 feddans for “Dar Misr<\/a> and Sakan Misr” buildings, with a total of 233 buildings. As well as a number of about 4,660 fully-furnished units, at a cost exceeds EGP 1 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n

The layout of the New Obour city is planned to be a new tangent civilized community similar to Heliopolis district, a suitable alternative to the capital, and an outlet for the residents to come out of jammed Cairo to more expanded and organized cities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inaugurated in March 2018, the area of residential city is around 2,200 feddans, taking into consideration all the housing units and its standards there.\u00a0 Inside it, there are many projects like social housing, premium housing, and above-middle housing, besides a group of lands suitable for many segments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Obour city has captured serious attention from all state sectors; because it is one of the fourth generation cities that adopted the highest quality standards and most sophisticated techniques in applying and serving the public services. A comprehensive plan has been developed to cover the city with all educational, medical, social, entertaining, and security services.<\/span><\/p>\n

Phase one of the city witnessed the construction of 13 malls, 4 primary schools, 2 high schools, 4 nurseries, 3 medical clinics, a small youth center, a bakery, a police and fire stations. Besides, the completion of implementation of 13 malls, 5 sport fields, and 3 mosques and a church by donation system. All of these services come in the context of providing different services for the residents and creating an integrated civilized community.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, these services were completed alongside with the completion of building and finishing all urban communities inside the city. A<\/span>s for the educational services, 35 schools and 17 nurseries were completed, while the completion of Banha and Ain Shams Universities of Obour city are expected to be carried out.<\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding the medical services, 12 hospitals have been established and a number of clinics and medical facilities are equipped with up-to-date equipment and devices which provide the highest medical service to the residents.<\/span><\/p>\n

The city consists of 28 mosques, 4 churches distributed around the city and 26 shopping malls. In addition, 104 commercial stores were auctioned in the social housing zone that includes those stores.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is also a social sports club and about 8 open playgrounds. Under the supervision of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, 2 youth centers are being implemented.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As for the security services, about 12 security units have been carried out among them police stations and follow-up points, as well as government labor offices, educational management departments, telephone exchanges, bus stops, tax authority branch and post offices were provided to residents.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
