These neighborhoods blend a wide array of cultures, in a way that form a kind of an incomparable mixture, and unmistakable magic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The magic and beauty of Egypt lie inside these ancient neighborhoods and eternal alleys, which embrace the stories of antecedents and so many facts as well as myths.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We toured <a href=\"https:\/\/advice.aqarmap.com.eg\/en\/most-vital-historical-neighborhoods-in-cairo\/\">Cairo\u2019s ancient neighborhoods<\/a> and Alexandria\u2019s most beautiful districts, as well as other sites in other Egyptian governorates. Eventually, we found it joyful to display some vital information that characterizes each of these places.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"single-post-title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/advice.aqarmap.com.eg\/en\/most-vital-historical-neighborhoods-in-cairo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"post-title btn btn-default btn-md\">Most Vital Historical Neighborhoods In Cairo<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><b>Old Cairo<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Old Cairo is located south of Cairo. It is one of the largest and most famous neighborhoods in the Egyptian capital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The extremely ancient neighborhood embraces a set of the oldest tourist attractions in Cairo, including Salah El Din Citadel, El Moez Street, the Religious Complex, Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan and Khan al-Khalili; one of the most famous tourist attractions in the capital.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Azbakeya<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Azbakeya is one of Egypt&#8217;s historic neighborhoods that date back to the Mamluk Sultanate era. After the Egyptian Revolution of 1952, It was known to be one of <a href=\"https:\/\/advice.aqarmap.com.eg\/en\/what-are-the-oldest-cities-in-cairo-find-out\/\">Cairo<\/a>\u2019s upscale neighborhoods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was named after the famous Soor El Azbakeya (Azbakeya Wall). The beauty of this place still dazzles visitors as yet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the most important features of Al-Fustat neighborhood are the famed Mosque of Amr Ibn El Aas, the Babylon Fortress, the Hanging Church and the charming Fustat Park.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Azarita<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moving to <a href=\"https:\/\/advice.aqarmap.com.eg\/en\/alexandria-excellent-destination-for-successful-project\/\">Alexandria<\/a>, you will figure out that Azarita is one of the most important historical neighborhoods in Egypt, and was one of the most prestigious neighborhoods of residence in Alexandria in the past.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Located in the center of Alexandria, Azarita\u2019s buildings are affected by Greek and Roman architecture.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It contains some of the most important landmarks in the Mediterranean governorate, including Bibliotheca Alexandrina, El Shalalat Park, El Qaed Ibrahim Mosque, Mahatet El Raml (Raml Station) tram and the Fair Zone of Alexandria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"single-post-title\"><a href=\"https:\/\/advice.aqarmap.com.eg\/en\/know-more-about-historic-neighborhoods-in-cairo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span class=\"post-title btn btn-default btn-md\">Know More About Historic Neighborhoods In Cairo<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><b>Kom El Dekka<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There, you can find several antiquities and excavations that date back to the era of the Greeks and the Ptolemaic dynasty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is one of Alexandria\u2019s historical neighborhoods that is believed to house the tomb of Alexander the Great. Moreover, it<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0contains a number of important monuments and attractions, including the Roman Amphitheater and the Pompey&#8217;s Pillar.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Ras El Teen\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is in the coastal area of Alexandria as it overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and has wonderful views. It extends over an area of 1,592 square kilometers. \u00a0Around 48,000 people live in the city. It is one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The district has a set of the most beautiful gardens in Port Said; the most famous of which are Saad Zaghloul Park and the Shatee\u2019 Garden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It also embraces the Port Said Military Museum and the renowned Abbasid Mosque.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Nahhas Street, Tanta<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is one of the most important streets of Tanta and one of the famous historical neighborhoods of Egypt. This street was named after Mostafa El-Nahhas Pasha, a famous Egyptian politician who has been the prime minister for only three months in 1928.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tanta is located between Cairo and Alexandria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The street in Tanta, one of the largest populated areas in Egypt, has the Delta City Mall and Abu El Abbas Mosque. It intersects with the famous El Bahr street.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>El Arbaeen, Suez<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Suez in northeastern Egypt. The majority of the city residents inhabit in this neighborhood.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It also has a group of famous tourist attractions, including El Arbaeen Mosque.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Agouza\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moving to Giza governorate in Greater Cairo, Agouza is a historical neighborhood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Giza is on the west bank of the Nile. It is known for possessing ancient landmarks and antiquities, including the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Agouza overlooks Nile water and also contains some of the most famous landmarks in Greater Cairo, including the Balloon Theater.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The district was named in the time of Nazli, daughter of\u00a0Soliman\u00a0Pasha El Faransawy, the founder of the Egyptian army in the era of Muhammad Ali Pasha who ruled Egypt between 1805 and 1848.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Nile Street is one of the most famous streets in the luxurious district of Agouza, which overlooks the Nile and houses many fine restaurants and famous stores.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Athribis, Benha<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Benha is around 45 kilometers away from Cairo, the capital.
