The district also has all types of services including educational ones like Kattameya school, Harameen school, New Maadi school and Azhari institution. It offers apartments for rent and sale as well.

The location of Kattameya is very strategic in the south western part of New Cairo. It extends to Al Hadaba Al Wosta in Al Mokattam and Maadi. The district is also connected to other districts of Greater Cairo through Ring road and Ain El Sokhna road.
