One of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Giza governorate, established in 1960 and was mostly consisting of luxurious villas, but with time, villas neighborhoods were transformed into residential buildings and now it is more of a business district and a commercial hub that attracts major local and international corporations. Mohandeseen is well known for having a large collection of commercial shops, cafes, restaurants, and cinemas. In Mohandeseen, daylife and nightlife are very different; during the day, life is active with employees and workers moving between companies, and at night the neighborhood becomes a destination for first class shopping and entertainment with more that 200 cafes and well known brand shops. One of Mohandeseen’s drawbacks is it’s heavy traffic and difficulty in finding parking. Mohandeseen has various residential levels, but the majority of its housing is upscale, and there are a very few areas that can be more of economic housing or even slums. Mohandeseen hosts many famous landmarks like: Gameat Dowal street, Mustafa Mahmoud Mosque, Sphinx square, Giza Arab street, Ahmed Abdel Aziz street, Zamalek club, Egyptian Shooting club. Mohandeseen is strategically located, and it can be accessed through different roads and bridges like 6 October, 26 July axis, and 15 May bridge.
