El Ahya neighborhood consists of 12 residential neighborhoods which offer economic, middle, upper middle, and some luxury housing. Each of these neighborhoods has its own services areas and all enjoy access to great education services. About 6th October City: 6th of October city is a relatively new residential and industrial city that is located in Giza governorate and it was named after the 1973 victory. 6 October is located about 38 km from the center of Cairo, and it is distinguished by its low population density, and its low temperatures when compared to Cairo. One of the drawbacks of the city is its distance from the center of Cairo, and the heavy traffic across its main entrance road (26 July axis). 6 October offers a very wide variety of residential levels: Economic, Middle, Upper-Middle, Upscale, and Luxury housing. Its prominent landmarks include: Arab Mall, Akhbar Alyoum Academy, Zuwail Academy for Science and Technology, Media Production City, and Dream Park. 6 October can be accessed via 26 July axis or the Ring Road, and inner transportation tends to be better than New Cairo for example.
